CASE STUDIES
The customer wanted to replace some very old boards some of which were up to 18 years old. The new ones required were specifically 6 Surgical Count boards that were part of a wider project to update the hospital’s operating theatres. The boards had to be a special size to fit the wall space and provide enough space for details to be recorded. The design needed to be clear to understand and take the user’s eye to the box required so the relevant information could be recorded.
When the KR Sign Design team take on a project, we understand the busy hospital environment and the number of decisions that need to be made. We produced design proofs that were sent for consideration and feedback from our contact and the wider surgical team who would be using the boards. After passing the design proofs to and fro for amendments the final design was approved. As the customer is based on the Isle of Man we had anticipated the logistical challenge and lined up a specialist courier to ensure the boards arrived safely.
